BBQ Time At Janet's Volunteer Work!

After the big excitement of Phil's black eye, we have, yet again, reverted back to Boring Land.  Capital B and Capital L.

They had a big BBQ at Janet's volunteer job that was sponsored by Two Burley Men Moving Company.  They fed about five hundred people.
Mustard station.  Ketchup and Relish were side by side.

Trays of lettuce, tomato and sliced onion to adorn the burgers.  They are stacked three deep on each tray.  This was Janet's job.
Burger lineup!
After all these photos, the BBQ caught on fire!  In a major way!  Janet was too nervous busy to take photos, but was kind of wondering if it was time to call the fire department.  There were big flames and billowing black smoke.  Not too worry, it all burned out.  End result:  Janet smelling like a really bad campfire at her quilting lesson.  Janet says it appeared to her that all quilting advice was offered from across the room!

Fruit salad in the making:
Normally they don't give out milk to drink at Our Place, but last week, they had flat, upon flat of little containers of 2% milk and handed them out like crazy.  This is a small portion.

Farmer Janet is busting a gut, she is so proud!  This is the best veggie patch she has had in many years.  Amazing what fresh soil, fertilizer and paying attention can do.
Beans, planted in stages.

Check out the zucchini!

Potatoes.  Janet says she can literally watch the plants grow.
Check out what super handyman/son Jer made!  A dog poop bag holder!  How is that for convenient?
Gravy train.  Will the food appear anytime soon, Rocky?
Idiot Photographer Janet adjusted some control on her camera by accident, so many photos were all washed out.  Phil fixed it.  He says normally he will adjust the light by +1 or +2.  Janet's was adjusted to +17!
We slept as tight as a bug in a rug last night...all cozy and loving.  Noodles is really nice to me.
That's me on the inside, so Noodles chose to sleep by me.  Good night, sweet dreams.
