Another Day, Another Ball!

Softballs, hardballs, tennis balls, tee balls....you name, I have found it at the park down the street from Camp Canada.  I overheard Janet mentioning to Phil about ball season coming to an end.  Will this be bad for me, Ball Dog Extraordinaire?

Searching high:
and searching low:
At one point in time, my entire body was inside the bushes.
Persistence is key to my success.  And, voila!
Unlike Noodles some doggies, I believe in the Golden Rule:  Hard work pays off.

Hard balls are the easiest to chew apart, so I am only allowed to keep them for a little while.  Janet figures I must have brought home around 30 balls so far this summer.
Janet travelled back in time.   Two weeks ago, she had the binding sewn on her baby quilt disaster and had started to hand sew on the remainder.  We mentioned previously the quilt was not square and she had cut the binding too wide.  Take it all apart, trim up the binding, get Ken to square it and here we are again.
Janet needs to plan her quilting projects around the vacations of her private instructor, Karen.
Due to the bad location of our satellite dish, we cannot get some channels in high def.  This was not a problem at all when Janet wanted to watch "The Good Wife".  Guess what...now Phil wants to watch World Cup Soccer, but the only channel with hi def is in Spanish!  Problem!  Two years in, this might actually be dealt with!    Janet is busy learning how different countries are spelled in Spanish and was reminded how Bronwyn tried to learn Spanish on the Insect Repellant bottle many, many years ago when they went to Club Med in Mexico.
Different from English.
Rats, its the same!
This week, the people had Shrimp Pesto Pizza for dinner.  Janet needs to use up the pesto she made last summer before it's time to make more!
When Janet isn't busy not squaring quilts and making pizza, she is Farmer Janet!  Check it out!  She is pretty excited as the last two years have been complete failures.  Now, she is kind of nervous as the neighbours said they think there are racoons back in the shed and she is worried about going back there.
On the far side:  peas, lame rhubarb and tomatoes.  Close by, radish, zucchini, pattypan squash and potatoes.
Beans.
We end off the day at Camp Canada with parmesan cheese rinds.  Yummy!
Noodles doesn't roam around the house too much anymore, but when she does, this is her favourite spot.
If food is going to fall on the floor, this is where a guy needs to be.  Even the cooks at Our Place wipe up after Janet if she is serving!
