Out For Lunch!

Our Super Star Nephew Brad and his equally Super Star Girlfriend Kim invited Janet and Phil and Jeremy for lunch today.  Brad and Kim are packing up all their belongings and heading east to Halifax with their two kitties.  Janet says they didn't see them all that often while they were in Victoria, but when they did see them, it was great as they are both such excellent people.  Janet also says she does not envy their road trip.

Check out Farmer Rancher Janet's garden!  She is beyond belief at how great it is!

We are having a big party in Camp Canada because our house is now 100 years old!  Janet and I trooped over to City Hall to go to Oak Bay Archives and get copies of everything they had on record.  Our house cost $3500 to build, which included the garage.  It also said the sewer was done by "Oak Bay's Own Men", which we can only assume is better than the ne'er do wells that work in Saanich.

Will you be long, Janet?  I have important shit stuff to do at home!

OK...I will relax for a few minutes.  I wonder if the Barnes family had any puppy dogs when the built the house 100 years ago.

"We" are sparkling up the house and yard for the party, which involved Jer filling in the holes in the driveway with concrete.  Janet thought it would be super cute if we could put our paw prints in the fresh concrete.  Sadly, only Janet thought this would be cute as both myself and Noodles resisted like crazy.

OMG...are we off to the gallows?

Didn't turn out that well, but hopefully in another 100 years, people will wonder who Noodles and Pashy were.  Janet says she is going to look into Heritage Designation that will make it really difficult for anyone to tear down Camp Canada in the future.  Phil says there are pros and cons to the designation.
