Some Walks!

Most of the time, Noodles won't come with us on our morning walks.  Yesterday, as usual, she bailed so Janet and I went for a really big walk.  More like a safari!
This cute little bunny was before the park and was as still as a statue.
After we trooped through Uplands Park, we were going to exit onto Lansdowne so Mrs. Nosy Busybody could check out the construction on two new houses.  Just as we arrived at the exit, we spotted four deer.  Janet thinks this should be doable as we will try to tuck up along the edge of the road that is furthest from them.  Wrong!  The deer that we assumed was the "Mom" kept taking steps toward us.  No problem, Mrs. Deer!  We will walk back through the park.
One baby ran out of the photo.
This morning, Noodles did decide to come with us.  Janet says she feels sorry for the people who are kind enough to stop for us.  They have no clue as to the time commitment they have just made, waiting for Noodles to cross the street.
Our walk this morning was for about 45 minutes.  This would take the average guy all the way downtown.  In Noodles Land, it takes you about 1/4 of the way down Willows Beach and back.

She seeks out some shady respite...albeit right outside our front door.
Phil has been working lots lately, so Janet took us for a walk the other evening.  We (I) ran around the park and when we came home, Janet let us stay off leash, holding onto our collars tight when we cross the road.  Guess what!  Two houses from home, we spot Olly, next door kitty.  Do we listen to Janet when she calls us?  Not bloody likely!  Whilst she is screaming her head off for us to return, one of us (and I'm pretty sure it was Noodles!) crashed into the Williams deer fence.  At first Janet was quite shocked, but after a few minutes managed to convince herself that perhaps it had been broken previously.  This is despite the break looking brand new.....in the pitch black!  These are our really nice, partially headless neighbours.
She made Phil phone and tell them about our alleged mishap!  Of course, it goes without saying it was a brand new break.  Neither Noodles nor myself are prepared to discuss it without proper representation and will not be mirandized  without our lawyers present.  Do we have money for this kind of thing?  Best look into it.
The people went to Moxies and shared two appetizers for lunch yesterday.  They said the patio was beautiful!
Calamari, Popcorn Shrimp and Med Bread.

This was pretty exciting and we think the photo speaks for what a lame ass photographer Janet is itself!  There were fireworks off Willows Beach.  Phil said it was for a wedding!  Cool!
Janet channels her inner Ansel Adams.
