We Have Posted the Last Bad Photo of Janet

It goes without saying that dogs have natural beauty...we don't change our hair colour, need a facelift, knee lift or butt lift! Nobody ever says "that dress doesn't look good on her" or "man, are her jeans tight". Sadly, humans are not in the same boat. So, after we posted the last two photos of Janet, she took the advice of two of her friends (wait...does she have more than two? Don't know about that, but, whatever) and purchased New. Beauty. Products. Why does it cost so much money to slow down unkind Mother Nature?

Not to mention, the really nice, and very young salesperson, told Janet - 10 days and it's a new you! So, next Janet photo post is in 10 days. Please tell us what a 20ish young girl knows about almost 60ish wrinkles? Doesn't really matter, because Janet went there!

WORDS FROM THE GOLDEN PAWS

Hi...there are four of us! Myself, Corrigan (Rockers) and Kia (Noodles) stay with Our People, Janet and Phil in Victoria, BC. Our American correspondents, Ruby and Emma (Pashy) reside with Their People, Bronwyn and Mike in Portland, Oregon.

Noodles and I are 12 years old, Emma is six and Ruby is our most senior advisor at the ripe old age of 13!

We spend our days doing the usual doggie type of activities. I used to let Janet read her newspapers before I had her get our breakfast, but that is no longer the case. The minute she awakes and enters the kitchen, I start barking and that is her clue to get the show on the road. She likes to think she can ignore me, but I am far too persistent to let that happen!

Immediately after we eat, I start to track Phil down, room by room to let him know it's time to take us for a walk. Fortunately for Kia, I manage all these tasks on my own, so basically she is just along for the ride. What a Dumbbell..without me, she may never eat or go for a walk!

After our walk we sleep for several hours until it's time to start the process all over again, except in the afternoon the process is reversed. Every now and again, Phil will make some comment like "so, have the guys slept all day, again?". Not sure if he thinks we are supposed to be working on a thesis, or cleaning the bathroom - we are dogs!

Pretty exciting stuff!

NEW Update:

In addition to Ruby and Rockers having passed away, Noodles passed away 23 June 2016 - she was 14 years, 6 months, 10 days old, and we miss her so much. Out of the original gang - last doggie standing is Pashy (Emma) and her new sidekick in PDX, Watson! And, arriving very soon - Sherman!
